The Library has recently subscribed to the ANZ Newsstream online news database (part of ProQuest) which will enable students and staff to access a wide range of newspaper articles online.ANZ Newsstream provides full text access to state and national newspapers in Australia and New Zealand such as The Age, The Guardian, Herald Sun, The Australian as well as local and regional papers.The link can be directly accessed through Compass by clicking on School Resources - Library Resources - ANZ Newsstream (Newspaper Database). Students can also find a handout providing guidance on how to conduct searches in the ‘Library Resources’ folder.We also have access to the Coronavirus Research Database which is a free health and medical research database for openly available content related to the COVID-19 outbreak.
**Students are reminded to check the Library resources folder for a range of handouts and information to assist them to choose books for recreational reading. They can also find a range of information literacy resources there providing them with direct access to the World Book Online Encyclopedia, Echo Education, Wheelers ebooks and audiobooks and lots more.**
