Year 7

Year 7 Update

As our unprecedented school year continues it has been great to see our Year 7 group return to the college for face-to-face teaching. Already I have seen significant positive contributions and interactions between staff and students as we eagerly await the return the remainder of the year levels.

As we approach the end of the school year, we remind ourselves of the journey the Year 7 students have been on since the start of the school year. I have been very proud of the adaptation the boys have made in curricular and co-curricular activities during remote and face-to-face learning.

Usually at this time we would have had students involved in SIS Sport including Soccer, Tennis, Cricket, Basketball and the SJC Junior Production. Although these events are unable to take place in 2020, I encourage all students to put their hands up to participate in the large variety of co-curricular activities that we will have to offer here at the College in 2021.

I would like to extend my continued appreciation to the teachers for all the time and effort they have put in to facilitate a smooth transition this semester. We are all dedicated to creating a safe and successful learning environment by working in partnership as a school community.
