Health & Wellbeing Resources

During difficult times, it can be hard to know where to go to get assistance.  To this end, the School has made a Health & Wellbeing page available with links to organisations that can assist in areas of Mental Health and Family Violence. We also aim to make a short article available as part of this page.

This term's article is '11 tips for making friends through a confident mindset and social emotional intelligence'.

Canteen & Cafe

We are happy to announce that the Canteen and Café is open

Hours of operation:

Canteen: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays

Cafe: 8.30am to 2.00pm every day except Wednesday

Due to current restrictions, it is necessary to put in place new guidelines which are set out as follows:

Canteen:

  • All students from Prep to Year 8 must pre order their lunchvia the FlexiSchools app. This is a new arrangement for students from Year 5 to 8, who should now pre order rather than purchasing from the window at lunchtime.
  • Lunch orders will be delivered to the relevant classrooms just prior to the lunch break.
  • Only Year 9 & 10 students are able to order their lunch from the Canteen window.
  • Secondary students may purchase recess snacks from the Canteen window but social distancing should be adhered to.

Café

  • Available to Year 11 & 12 students only.
  • All purchases will be take-away.
  • The café area has a maximum capacity of 4 people. No more than the required number of people should be inside the café area at any time, therefore only those purchasing should enter.
  • To assist with the flow of people in this area, enter the Café from on the MPH side and exit via the external restaurant door.

Social distancing markers have been placed on the ground leading to the canteen and café. During recess and lunch, students are expected to maintain a reasonable distance from one another when lining up.

All food purchased from the café and canteen must be consumed outside. We cannot allow students to eat in the restaurant or the MPH foyer as this would be in in breach of current government guidelines related to inside dining.

Unfortunately, parents and other external visitors cannot use the Café at this time.

As restrictions ease, we will begin to relax these requirements.

Thank you for your understanding.
