Spotlight on Art

Year 8 Art 

Last term, we studied colour theory then students were tasked with finding objects around their homes to create a colour wheel containing the primary and secondary colours.

We then created artworks using found text selecting words to create poems which inspired imagery surrounding text. Students were encouraged to apply their art theory knowledge to their designs which you can see has had a great result.

VCE Arts/Technology Exhibition

As we get closer to the end of this year, our Year 11 and 12 students have nearly completed their final artworks for their VCE Arts/Technology subjects. This also means that it's time for our annual VCE Arts/Technology Exhibition. In light of the restrictions in place, things will be running a little differently this year. There will be more details to come in the next newsletter.
