Attendance Matters
Punctuality
Being at school on time is really important. School starts at 8.50. Learning starts form this moment. Every minute really does count.
Please look at the attached graphic, which tells you how much time of learning is lost during a school year if a student is just 5 minutes late a day.
Many CONGRATULATIONS to the following students who had 100% attendance during Term 3. This is incredible.

Each student received a certificate and received acknowledgement during our first whole school meeting.
During our weekly meetings, students who meet the government minimum standard of 90% rate of attendance get entered into a raffle to win a prize. Our Dockers Indigenous Guernsey is presented to the class with the highest attendance.
For students whose attendance fell below 80% during Term 3, letters informing parents of this were sent out, as well as to parents for students who were late more than 10 times during the term. If you have any concerns about getting your child to school or on time, please do see Mrs Tingle who would love to work with you on improving attendance and punctuality.
