Principal's Message

Dear Students, Parents, Carers and Families,

CURRICULUM DAY TOMORROW

Tomorrow is our final Curriculum Day for the year. As a staff we will be further developing our Discovery (Inquiry) Curriculum in preparation for 2021.

Our outside school hours program, will be running a whole day program for families who still require the service. Please go their website to ensure you book in advance.

STAY SAFE - USE THE SCHOOL CROSSINGS - SAFETY IS OUR NUMBER 1 PRIORITY!

The beginning and end of the school day are the busiest times at our school. They are also the time where the risk to our student and community safety is at its highest. Please remember to use the crossings at all times when your family needs to cross the road. They may not always be the closest to where you need to go or the most convenient but they are the safest and best way to protect those we love so much!

2021 FOUNDATION TRANSITION

We are all looking forward to our second onsite transition session with our newest community members next Thursday 26th November. This is an exciting time at our school for all of us and for our new 2021 Foundation students. Last Thursday they experienced their first session at school after quite a few online transition sessions but they settled in really well and had a lot of fun!

Next week the five groups will work on creating their friendship tree during their 45 minute transition session.

Group 1: 10:15 – 11am

Group 2: 11:15-12pm

Group 3: 12:15- 1pm

Group 4: 1:15- 2pm

Group 5: 2:15- 3pm

See you all next week!

NEW ENROLMENTS TO MARAMBA IN 2021

Thank you to the families who have contacted other friends or families to ensure they enrol now if they are intending to come to Maramba in 2021.

Our Foundation classes have limited spaces left, so I ask you to talk to anyone you know who is coming to Maramba but hasn't enrolled yet to contact the office asap to enrol.

Likewise, we are in the final stage of planning class lists for 2021 so if you are moving out of the area and transferring schools please contact us asap. The clearer we are of enrolment numbers for next year the better we are able to plan for all of our students.

Take care and stay safe!

Kind regards,

Darren Wallace
