2D Shapes

Over the past 2 weeks, Foundation students have been learning all about 2D shapes!

We have been counting the sides on shapes to identify them, and have even been walking around our schoolyard trying to spot those shapes in real life! We found lots!

We also got to make tasty Shape Icecreams, with students cutting out different shapes for scoops of delicious icecream! Students enjoyed coming up with their own special flavours and stacking the shapes to make the biggest, yummiest ice-creams!

Easter Hats

The Foundation students have been busily preparing for our Easter hat parade next Wednesday morning, by beginning to create their own Easter headbands (with the help of our wonderful buddies).

We look forward to showing you our wonderful hats at the parade!

End of Term 1

As we rapidly approach the end of Term 1, the Foundation teachers would like to take this opportunity to celebrate all the hard work and learning that has taken place since we started in Week 1.

Our students have all made a fantastic start to their schooling at WPS and we are very excited to see what the rest of the year holds for them!

Thank you to all of our Foundation families for your support and enthusiasm - we look forward to continuing to work with you all in Term 2.

Have a safe and happy school holidays!
