For today’s newsletter, I just thought I would touch base with you regarding Book Club.  Those of you who are familiar with the old format of the catalogues would have definitely noticed the huge change Scholastic made to the catalogues this year, in both appearance, layout, paper quality and size.  Apparently, the feedback wasn’t great, and they have tweaked, and again modified the catalogues from Issue 3 (out next term). I’ve included the notice we received from them regarding the change below, and I must admit, it has me enthusiastic about the amendments and I look forward to seeing them next term. I hope you and your children will find the improvements more engaging.

Book Club is sent out twice a term (8 issues per year).  It is a fantastic way to help the school, as we are able to purchase books and school resources at a reduced rate through the commission we earn each time you purchase through them.  Orders for each issue of the catalogues are processed, generally half way through the catalogue time (from when the catalogue is handed out until the cut-off day) and again the day following the due date. As we are charged for freight for delivery to the school, a home delivery option is offered if you would still like to purchase after the due date is passed.
