Artists of the Week - Assembly 17.03.2023

Year 2 students have been learning about African art and masks.  They cut out their own cardboard mask shape and decorated it in African pattern and colours.  Finally, they embellished their masks with feathers, fur, beads and wool.  The masks look very colourful and quite scary. Great work everyone.

FrenchMU2 for their energy and enthusiasm for learning in French this week.
PEJU1 for their great efforts and teamwork when learning to play Tunnel Ball.
Artists of the Week - Assembly 24.03.2023

Year 1 students have been learning about LINE in art.  They used bingo dabbers to draw a straight, curly, twisted - across a page and then painted bright colours between the lines.  When the paints dried they cut out a monster's body and used coloured paper to make eyes, mouth, ears, arms & legs.  The ‘Line Monsters’ look very colourful.  Well done Year 1.
