Weeks 8 and 9, Term 1

2023 

POW! BANG! WHAM!

Grade 5 and 6 students have been working hard on the ONOMATAPOEIC artworks, discovering contrast or complementary colour combinations and working on their graphic design skills.

You will see these dynamic artworks on stage as part of our Term 2 Production "SuperStan".  

Mr Potato Head Transformed

Several weeks ago, the Grade 2's had fun recreating "Mr Potato Head" with real potatoes and plasticine. This week, wee recycled the potatoes to make stamps, the way us Mums and Dads, Grans and Grandpas would remember from times past. We stamped our oval shapes onto big sheets of paper, then we created faces, having fun with our black fineliners and exploring characters and expressions.
