Term 1 - Mark Nunis

Our whole school production of The Amazing Adventures of Superstan is getting closer!  We had a our very first run through as a whole school on Thursday 23 March, which went well.  The costumes are looking amazing and the class dances will definitely keep you entertained throughout the show.  I would just like to thank all the cast members who have been working really hard this whole term to learn lines, songs, movement, projecting their voices etc.  

 

Here are some information in regards to our production for students to know:

  • All students are onstage on both Wednesday and Thursday night of production, they are expected to attend both nights.  
  • Students who are performing do not need to purchase a ticket
  • On Wednesday 26 April & Thursday 27 April – Cast Members are needed at the theatre Stage Door at 6:00pm
  • All other students are required to be at the theatre at 6:30pm (more information will be sent closer to showtime)
  • The show will start at 7:00pm with an approximate finish time of 8:30pm.
  • Students will need to come to the theatre dressed in their costumes 
  • They will need to bring with them a drink bottle and also can bring a book or quiet activity with them while they wait for their turn on stage.

 

Tickets are selling fast – so if you haven’t already, please speak to our office staff about purchasing tickets, feel free to invite your family and friends.

 

The show will be professionally filmed on the Thursday night.  There will be forms sent home so you can order a copy  of a DVD or USB.
