Hello, from our students and teachers.

Hello, from Mrs. D's (Mrs. Sonia Dubb's) class of Year 2's and some Y-2 of Ms. Kennedy's class!

I hope you have had a great start to your week, and finishing it off with a spark! The Grade 3’s were on camp for the first three days; and Grade 2’s worked really hard for their Reading, Writing and Math.

There's a lot going on in this week for the Grade 2's.

For this week, in Literacy we have been working on ‘constructing our sentences’ using ‘nouns, verbs and adjectives’. We first built on our understandings of 'Nouns, Verbs and Adjectives' and here are our photos:

Then, these are our work samples when we were finding some nouns, verbs and adjectives, while we were doing our independent reading:

For Numeracy, we started off our week by showing Mrs. D different strategies to count objects, and we used some strategies of counting by 1's, 2's, 3's... and even 5's! Here are our work samples:

We then practiced our Place Value expanding numbers, which you can clearly see here:

Lastly, we really enjoyed making different artworks with our Shapes for the Measurement Lesson!

Thank you for taking the time to peruse our extensive work. We hope that you have enjoyed our work, and may you have a great weekend! ^_^
