School Council Update

Hi Monty Families,

School council met last week for our final meeting of the 2022 School Council, AGM, and first meeting of the 2023 School Council - it was a big night! 

Huge thanks to our outgoing school council members - Kirsty Leahy, Steph Kehoe, and Matt Lewis - it’s been fabulous having you on council and we really appreciate your time and dedication. And a big welcome to our new members - Cath Healy, Sophie Kerss and Paul Wickham - thank you for joining us! 

We’re looking forward to another busy and exciting year at Monty Primary. 

School council roles this year are:

Executive - Janene Worsam

President - Nicole MacDonald

Vice President - Amy Gedge 

Treasurer - Bal Singh

Buildings and Grounds - Dave Koolstra 

Parent reps - Amy Barclay, Cath Healy, Sophie Kerss 

Department of Education Reps -  Paul Wickham, Lucinda Thom

Time flies and here we are nearly at the end of Term 1. Lots of action around the school with building works progressing including the new portable teacher space. I wanted to send an extra shout out to the leadership team and Dave Koolstra who spend a lot of extra hours making sure everything is running smoothly. It will be exciting to see the new building taking shape as the year progresses.
