School Council

Thanks and Welcome

Last month’s council meeting was the first for the year, and the final meeting for April Walsh, Damian McCrohan and Sam Oxley. I would like to take this opportunity to thank them publicly to their many years of service to council and the MC community as parent representatives, and especially to April, who served in the role of council president for three years.

On Tuesday 21st March, we will hold the first meeting with our new members and will elect new office bearers. I would like to congratulate and welcome:

• Liesl Coulthard and Jacqui Pontefract – both re-elected for another term
• Lisa Garnett and Sharna Booth – newly elected to council as parent representatives
• Yeng Ling – newly elected to council as a community representative
• Rebecca Reed – a further co-opted representative

I am pleased and appreciative that so many of our parents are prepared to involve themselves in school council.
