'Creating Futures Together'

Whole School Assembly - Friday 10th March

Today (March 10th), we had our first Whole School assembly of 2023. One of the highlights of the assembly was the student leaders who presented. They were truly inspiring and gave us some great ideas for improving our school  by initiating various programs throughout the school. They spoke about the importance of inclusion and diversity, highlighted our College values of respect, excellence and creativity, and suggested ways we can make our school more welcoming and supportive for everyone. It was amazing to see their passion and enthusiasm for creating positive change.

We also had some fantastic performances from our talented students. The national anthem was sung beautifully by Macy Whetstone, and the cover of TLC's Waterfalls by VCE VET Music band, The Unsociables, was truly impressive. It's always amazing to see our students showcase their talents and creativity.

As always, we want to improve and make our assemblies even better. We've already received some great suggestions, including the idea of a whole school 'just dance' session. I'm already thinking about what song we could do!

The whole-school assembly was overall successful and a great example of the strength and unity of our school community. I want to thank everyone who attended and participated, and I look forward to our next assembly where we can continue to learn, grow, and have fun together.

Clean Up Australia Day - Friday 3rd March

On Friday 3rd March, our Year 7's participated in 'Clean up Australia Day'. Our Year 7 students learned about the importance of keeping our environment clean so that plants and animals can live without being in danger of suffocating on rubbish laying around. This is an important way for students to engage in community based projects as well as get involved in national and schools based sustainability initiatives. Students recieved a Zoopa Doopa as a reward for their efforts. See photos below:

Thank You Bakers Delight

Over the last 5 years, Bakers Delights have been donating much-needed breakfast food to WHSC Breakfast Club.

We are so appreciative of their ongoing support as we would not have been able to run the club without their generosity. From Wheelers Hill Secondary College, thank you Bakers Delight.
