Principal's Report

'Creating Futures Together'

Hi Everyone,

On behalf of the Principal Team I would like to start by acknowledging our wonderful student leaders who did an amazing job presenting to the College community their roles and purpose within the school at the whole school assembly today. A big acknowledgement to Macy Whetstone for her rendition of the National Anthem, Matilda Davies for her outstanding school logo design, Madison Kleinman for her art design for the school diaries and ‘The Unsociables’, our Senior School band, for their closing number. It was indeed a celebration of student voice and achievement.

On the sports front, congratulations to Scott House for winning the inaugural Dodgeball Competition. The trophy is now in the foyer cabinet. We would also like to congratulate Jells House on winning the Swimming and Diving for 2023. I am also delighted about our recent divisional wins in Swimming and Diving which our Sports teachers will report on in our next newsletter.

Another important part of our student leadership is our Student Representative Council who also play an important role in supporting our student community:

In all, we are very proud that so many students at our school are taking an active interest in supporting their school.

Just a big reminder that NAPLAN for our Years 7 and 9 students begins next Wednesday through to Monday. It is very important that they do bring a charged laptop. Year 7s will sit the tests in the morning sessions and Year 9s will be after recess. If students do miss a session for any reason, then catchup sessions will be available.

On Friday March 24 at 6.30 for a 7.00pm start, we will be holding our Trivia Night. It is $10 per adult and $5.00 per student. There will be some amazing items up for auction so we encourage all to come along and test their knowledge! BYO nibbles and non-alcoholic beverages. Staff, students, families and friends are welcome.
