Student Wellbeing News

Last Nights ‘Family Art & Wellbeing’ night was truly wonderful. A big thank you to all the beautiful families that could make it. We had over 70 artists/family members creating amazing works of art. Every table was covered in brown paper ready for warming up their art brains. Starting with a drawing relay, then moving on to drawing to music, listening to everything from classical, to African drum to ACDC and in between.

The highlight for me was the joint family art pieces. Families chose adjectives that best described their families. ‘Calm’ ‘Crazy’ ‘Artistic’ ‘Active’ ‘Fun’ ‘Energetic’ ‘Foodies’ ‘Quiet’ ‘Dramatic’ ‘Loving’ were some of the many used. Then they used mixed media, patterned paper, pastels, paint pens and art they had already produced. The atmosphere was fun, warm and encouraging. A lovey community night.

Stay tuned for dates of next term's Family Art & Wellbeing Night!
