STEM Room

Room 15 at COHR this year has become our STEM Room.

Classes will conduct some of their lessons in the STEM room through out the term.

Last week, the 5\6's in their Digital Technology lesson used the Blue Bots and Bee Bots. These robotic devices were revisited - how to use and program, what commands to use and how far could they move.   

First off the students were given a set of instructions to input in to the robots and then watch as they robotic device made a shape - could the students figure out the programmed shape?

Students then designed some obstacle courses using classroom objects and measured out and programmed their robotic device to travel through the course.  Lots of thinking, talking and adapting their programs were evident as they made changes so as to accurately complete their obstacle course.
