News from

Dear Parents and Carers,

I hope you will find the time to visit your child’s classroom to see “learning in action” and the curiosity that the students are showing in their learning this term. There are a number of dates and times outlined on the invitation and you are welcome to join us where you can.

Last Friday, 17th March, I attended the St Patrick’s Day Mass at St Mary’s Cathedral with the School Captains. They represented the students and our school so beautifully and I was so proud of them. The Mass was very traditional and quite majestic. The awe and wonder they expressed in the beauty of the Cathedral was a delight to share with them. They also learnt a bit more about our Irish heritage with the Mercy traditions and our connection to the Catherine McAuley story.

Student Newsletter

I’d like to give a shout out to our Year 6 students who have been working hard at putting together a Student Newsletter each fortnight which is compiled of “What’s Happening?” stories around the school. If you missed the first edition you can access it via the tab on the website they have created which can be found on the Student Newsletter page in this newsletter. It is full of delightful stories about what is important to them and showcases student learning in positive and engaging ways! Thank you to Ms Ingram who is leading the Year 6 students in this truly authentic learning experience!

Have a wonderful weekend and week ahead!
