I’m excited to share news of our transition to the new Molesworth Street Campus. The project is continuing to progress well and we’re expecting to receive the keys to the new building in mid-April, during the Easter School break.
I am working closely with the VSBA and our school leadership team to develop a plan that will allow staff and our Prep, Year 1 and Year 2 students to make a smooth and enjoyable transition to the new campus during the first few weeks of Term 2. Details are still being finalised but a high level overview of the transition plan is outlined below to help students, families and staff understand what to expect during the move.
Week 1: (First day of term Wednesday 26 April): Staff Orientation
All students will attend the Errol Street Campus. Children will return to their Term 1 classrooms.
Staff orientation will begin during this week allowing staff to get familiar with the new building and set up their classrooms.
Week 2: (w/c Monday 1 May):
Student Orientation
Lessons for Prep, Year 1 and Year 2 students will continue at the Errol Street campus, but students will begin to familiarise themselves with the Molesworth Street campus. This will include class visits to the new campus at the beginning of the week, with children spending longer sessions at Molesworth Street later in the week.
Week 3: (w/c Monday 8 May):
Classes begin at Molesworth Street campus
All Prep/Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2 classes will take place at Molesworth Street.

We’re continuing to prepare more detailed information for children and families to support you with the transition to Molesworth Street. This will include maps of the new campus outlining drop-off and pick-up zones, and tips to help children with the transition to the new building. Transition plans for the kindergarten and BEK spaces will also be shared with you in the coming weeks.
