From Parents & Friends
The Harmony Day School Picnic
It was wonderful to see so many families coming out to the Harmony Day School Picnic and celebrating diversity with this year’s theme “Everyone Belongs”. The spots of rain
didn’t get in the way of high spirits as people filled the gym and poured out on to the grassketball court listening to music from around the world.
Emil from Wandering Events kept everyone entertained with his juggling skills and bubbles. He also inspired parents, students and teachers to give it a go
themselves with balancing plates, juggling sticks and rainbow streamers. There were fun games outside and colouring tables inside where everyone came together and shared in lots of laughter.
A wholehearted thanks goes out to our amazing volunteers who helped make the day a success. They set up, cleaned up, ran activities and sold 450 donuts, 220 Zooper Doopers and bags, buttons, scrunchies and art prints all with a smile.
Committee Meetings
If you would like to get involved with Parents and Friends, please come to our next meeting on 4 April. Meetings are held at least monthly, but attendance is not compulsory (minutes are emailed). The Parents and Friends Association welcomes any member of the school community who cares about our school and is willing to lead, or support, activities and events.
