こんにちは！Konnichiwa!

Students are beginning their year in Japanese by speaking lots of Japanese with the support of actions to help them remember new words. We are practicing our greetings, our manners and answering simple questions in Japanese. It's been so lovely to see students back again for Term 1 and to meet all the students who are new to the school!

Prep students are learning new routines for Japanese classes. Year1/2 students are starting to make connections to the sounds of Japanese and hiragana letters. Year 3 to 6 students are exploring Nihongo (Japanese) as a language and culture and creating artwork and resources to use in the classroom.
