Staff Changes

2022

Mrs Tina Wilson

It's an exciting time in the Wilson household with a baby on the way.  We share in their excitement and pray God's blessing on Tina and her husband, Ben, as she takes maternity leave.

Mrs Naomi Schultink

Taking over from Mrs Wilson during her maternity leave will be Mrs Naomi Schultink.  Mrs Schultink has taught most recently at Robinvale College and before that at Covenant College in Geelong.  We look forward to her contribution in 2022.

Ms Katrina Wheaton

We're looking forward to welcoming Ms Wheaton as our new Visual Arts and Technologies Teacher in 2022.  Ms Wheaton is an experienced teacher having served most recently at Genazzano FCJ College for the last 8 years.  She has a passion for art and textiles and has twice been the recipient of the Design and Technologies Teachers Association Educator of the Year award.

Miss Rachel Jasper

For the last two and a half years, Rachel Jasper has taught in a remote village of Papua New Guinea.  Before that, she was a much-loved teacher at MCC.  We are delighted to have her return to MCC in 2022.

David Tunkin

For the last ten years, David Tunkin has served part-time as our Business Manager.   His generous contribution has played a major role in securing the school's finances and allowing us to grow our facilities and resources.  Mr Tunkin has been planning for some time to move on to new challenges and now the time is right.

Mr John Clarke

Taking over in the Business Manager role is Mr John Clarke.  Mr Clarke will mostly work remotely and will rely on support from Mrs Arnol.  Mr Clarke has extensive expertise in accounting and financial management and has served as a Business Manager in numerous other Christian schools.  We're excited to welcome him to our team.

Mr Abraham Schultink

This past year we have appreciated having Mr Schultink drive our bus on the Robinvale run.  He has also been our handyman around the school.  Most recently, he has built a palatial chicken coop for our expanding kitchen garden.  After recently moving to Mildura, it no longer makes sense for Mr Schultink to drive the Robinvale bus.  He's moving on to new challenges in 2022 and will no longer be on staff.  Thanks for all your efforts, Mr Schultink.

Kyla Whitfield

We're grateful for the contribution of Mrs Whitfield as our visual arts teacher this past year.   Mrs Whitfield also taught other subjects including secondary humanities and some technologies subjects.  Her recent departure was a little earlier than planned and somewhat sudden, however, we respect her decision to go home and be with family after a challenging year of lockdowns and restrictions.  We wish Mrs Whitfield well in her future pursuits.
