Excel Showcase Evening

Students in 7E, 8E and 9E were able to showcase and celebrate their work throughout the 2017 school year at the Academic EXCEL Showcase night, held on Wednesday 15th December in the college Performing Arts Centre. The showcase highlighted the excellent work that the Academic EXCEL cohort have completed throughout the year both as individuals and collaboratively. 7E displayed their work in the foyer and parents were invited to test out their creations as students answered questions about the science behind their models. 8E explored the work that they had completed throughout their year, particularly in English – detailing outstanding book reviews and a fantastic overview of the Critical Thinking Challenge Days that the cohort participated in throughout the year. 9E were able to celebrate their three years in the Academic EXCEL program and reflect on the experiences that they had and share their most memorable moments. It was a fantastic night to celebrate the hard work and achievements of our Academic EXCEL students!
