As we begin Term 3, students from Year 7 to Year 12 are encouraged to consider competing in weekly Vista sport in the following teams; Senior Boys Basketball, Senior Boys Badminton, Junior Girls Netball and Boys Soccer.
SACSA Carnivals will continue this term with AFL in Week 5 and Soccer in Week 9. Information about these carnivals will be communicated to students through morning notices and through future Anchor articles.
We look forward to another exciting term ahead. Best of luck to all teams!

Term 2 Weekly Vista Grand Final
Year 10-12 Senior Girls Netball
To conclude the Term 2 Vista sports competition, the Senior Girls Netball grand final was played in Week 2 of Term 3 due to exams at the end of last term. The grand final was played against Modbury High School.
The girls were extremely excited to compete in the grand final and be given the opportunity to play for the premiership. Throughout the entire match the scores were very close with both teams regularly swapping for the lead. At the end of the fourth quarter the scores were level and the game went into extra time to decide a winner. In the last minutes of extra time Modbury scored from their centre pass and turned the ball over on the next centre pass. Modbury were 2 goals up and scored a third in the last minute of the game to win 42 to 39. Congratulations to Modbury for winning the 2019 Senior Girls' Vista Netball premiership and congratulations to our girls for their effort and teamwork throughout the term's competition.
We would like to thank all students and staff who were involved in College Sport last term.

A big congratulations to the Boys' team who progress to the State Finals! We wish them all the best as they train for this and compete in September. Well done also to the Girls' team who finished second overall by just one point.
