Principal's Views

Dear Parents and Carers,

As I write the last newsletter for 2022 I am reflecting on what an amazing year 2022 has been. In my first year as Principal of Epping Views Primary School I have been impressed by the dedicated staff, the high quality programs and the wonderful students who make up our school. 

2022 has been the first full year of onsite learning since 2019. The year has been both challenging and rewarding. Whist we struggled with the fall out of Covid we have been able to welcome our parents and wider school community back on site.

Last night was an end of an era for our Grade 6 students. The Graduation ceremony was a fitting farewell and celebration for a wonderful group of students who are moving off to high school. On behalf of the whole school community I wish them all the best of luck.

At the end of every school year we farewell staff as they move off to other ventures. Some of our staff are moving off to work at other schools, others are taking leave to start or extend their families and some are taking leave to spend time with family and friends and invest in doing things that they love. I send all of these staff members the best wishes for a successful and happy future.

In closing, I would like to thank you all for your support this year. You have made my first year at EVPS a joy. I would like to acknowledge the wonderful staff, their dedication and hard work has been inspirational.
