Year 11 Study Camp
Y11 students participated in a camp at the Anglesea Valley Lodge. Students engaged in a range of different activities including camping, orienteering, surfing, cooking, and much more. There was slight hesitation from some students before going camp, with this being the first time they would have slept in a tent overnight. However, students showed great leadership and teamwork as they set up tents and packed their camping bags with all the essentials needed. Another highlight was the cooking skills that some students displayed as they prepared dinner on an open fire they had created, with limited utensils and ingredients.
The final day took place down at Lorne beach where students participated in beach games and surf lessons. The rainfall held off and the sun shone through as students and some staff attempted to stand up on a surfboard. Overall, this was a great experience with both staff and students having nothing but positive feedback. Well done to all campers!
