Christmas Pop-up Stall - Thank you
Thanks so much to the Kilvington Craft Group for holding such a beautiful Christmas Pop-up Stall last weekend while the SHUS was running.
There was a beautiful, warm buzz around the Stall for the entire two hours. It was definitely a hit and will sure to be back in 2024! Watch this space for future pop-up events.
A reminder to anyone who'd like to join the crafting group, or simply donate handcrafted items in the future - please feel free to reach out to Eleri as she'll be more than happy to answer any questions at elerim@gmail.com. You can also sign up here.
Prep to Year 3 Inaugural Dads' Night
A big thanks to Tim Cooper (Prep CSR) for organising the first dads’ event within the Junior School. This social catch-up was spread across four cohorts, from Prep to Year 3.
The idea behind this event was to start with a smaller group of cohorts to test the appetite with the dads' and then to seek feedback. The first one was kicked off at Murrumbeena Lawn Bowls with a pizza and drink in hand and was a hit! Therefore, it looks like there will be more events to come like this in 2024!
Please reach out with ideas about any social events you'd like to run next year.
Year 5 End-of-Year Social Event
What a fabulous end to the year for the Year 5 cohort, as they recently closed out 2023 with an awesome social event at Moorabbin. It was their most successful event to date, with 36 students in attendance.
The staff at Moorabbin Archery did a fabulous job, even with such a big group. We definitely have some budding archers! A massive thank you to June Zhang, the Year 5 CSR Lead, for organising the event. It's so magical to see these connections being fostered outside of Kilvington.
