Principal's Report

Dear Parents, Friends and Father Arsenio,

Welcome back.

I am pleased and proud to welcome our community back for the start of another educational year. To those new to our school this year I hope you experience many positive aspects of our community over your time with us. To those returning, it is a warm welcome back.

Enrolments will shortly be opening for families wanting to enrol a prep child in 2024. Existing families are welcome to drop of forms in person or via email to Kate from now on. If you are aware of prospective families please be proactive in issuing an invitation to our school and upcoming tours.

Staffing changes have occurred this term but due to the work last year and inductions this year they have moved in very smoothly. Over the next few weeks we will feature a short profile in the newsletter of each new staff member. The website will also shortly be updated to include their pictures and email addresses.

To date, we do not have a Japanese (LOTE) teacher. I have asked Danielle James to assist by teaching STEM until the end of the term. I intend to advertise for another LOTE teacher and if this does not work out pursue a teacher of Auslan. I will of course keep you updated via the newsletter.

A huge thanks to our P&F for sponsoring the new benches near the 1/2 play areas and on the oval. Judging by the weight they will be in operation for many years to come. I am sure that many of you also enjoyed a welcome back coffee last week. Again this was with thanks to the P&F.
