Footy Colours Day

To conclude a wonderful Term 3, the student engagement team promoted a footy colours day. 

The students and staff were invited to wear their favourite footy team colours and decorate their classrooms on Wednesday 14th of September. This could have included AFL, Rugby, NFL, Basketball, Netball and Soccer teams.  

The students and staff had heaps of fun. Below are some pictures from the day. We look forward to next year's event.

"Student Leadership Meeting Term 3, Week 9 Summary - 06/09/2022"

Well, here we are already nearing the end of the term. Can you believe it? Last Tuesday was our last Student Leadership Meeting for this term, which was led by Daniel, Linda and Rachael. In our meeting, we were planning and discussing the national celebration, R U OK? It's a day where we are reminding each other that no matter what kind of day you're having, it is a kind and touching gesture to check in if someone is ok. 

Here are the duties that we did throughout the meeting:

• Tried on R U OK? Day t-shirts to wear on the day of celebration 
• Hung up R U OK? Day posters around the school
• Had our photo taken in our t-shirt, which was later put on the JSA page on Facebook. 
• Most of all, we checked in with various people to see if they are okay or not. 

That's a wrap from the last Student Leadership Meeting this Term! We're all looking forward to our next Student Leadership Meeting in Term 4.
