Year 3 Weaving Trees

This term, students in Year 3 have been making Weaving Trees. Students began the process of designing their Weaving Trees by painting different habits on a paper plate. Students cut 'slits' around the edge of the paper plate. Strings of wool were weaved using a sewing needle. A sewing technique of 'over and under' was used to design a type of tree e.g Weeping willows, fruit and palm trees.
