Wear It Purple Day
Wear it Purple Day is this Friday. We encourage you to wear a splash of purple with your uniform to show your support. There will be a stall outside of wellbeing run by our PRISM group with lollypops and photo props, and the Casey 360 Bus will be onsite for lunch, so make sure you join the fun!
Headspace Forums
Headspace are holding online forums for young people where you can hear from a professional and if you wish to, you can log in and pre-register a question that can be answered during the forum.
On August 25th the topic is Teen Parties. If you can't listen live at the time the transcript will be available afterwards for you to download.
As young people enter their teenage years and their independence grows, attending parties becomes an important social occasion many want to partake in. These events can help young people build their social skills, increase their confidence, and develop responsibility. For family, this can be a challenging time to navigate, trying to find the balance between boundaries, trust and safety whilst also maintaining a connection with your young person.
Join the e-headspace clinicians and the headspace Friends and Family National Reference Group to learn about how to keep young people and yourself safe as they navigate teen parties, drinking and other drugs.
Teen Parties Forum: Thursday 25th August between 7-8pm AEST.
Click to register for our session (and before the day to set a reminder for yourself if you want).
