5C Book Stall

A huge thank you to all those families that supported the 5C Book Stall last week. We received lots and lots of books donated from the school and local community. We sold them for $1 and for $2, as well as bookmarks made by the students in Year 5. The Book Stall was a great example of students taking action for others – the money raised is going to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation: https://www.indigenousliteracyfoundation.org.au/

And guess what? We raised a WHOPPING $1204.50. The 5C students worked super hard, giving up their lunch and recess break times to sell the books and they are really proud of themselves.
