                                     Year 7    Chinese Museum Excursion Term 3 

This term, Year 7 students have been studying Chinese history and culture across various programs (Humanities, Literacy and Mandarin). An excursion to the Chinese Museum deepened their understanding. Under the guidance of the experienced educators at the museum, the students visited the exhibition rooms of Han Dynasty and the Silk Road, explored the “gold fields” in the 1850s, and learned the Chinese-Australian history spanning 200 years through to the present day. They also attended a workshop presenting interesting inventions from Ancient China.
