  • Great Entrepreneurial Challenge

Are you curious about business?  Do you have a great idea to make a difference to the way we live?

Interested Year 10 and 11 students are invited to sign up for the Great Entrepreneurial Challenge and get a taste of the world of business!  Students will learn the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and awesome pitch delivery.  They will work together with other students as they flesh-out a business idea under the mentorship of industry experts and current Monash students.  Lunch and snacks are included!

 

Who:               Year 10 and 11 students only

When:             20 September 2022

Time:               9.45am - 4.00pm

Where:            Monash Business School, Monash Caulfield campus, Building H,                           900 Dandenong Road, Caulfield East

Places are limited and registration is essential.

  • Maths & Science Prerequisites

The best way to meet the prerequisites requirements for Monash undergraduate courses is by undertaking them via your VCE or equivalent Year 12 studies.  However, Monash does accept a range of alternate options if students do not have the required VCE units or do not meet the study score.  Some of these are outlined at the link below.  These options are not a definitive list but do provide students with relevant and known alternatives that may help them with planning their course progression.

It is important to note students must complete at least one of the listed alternative options before they can access the destination degree.  For example, if a student is interested in the Bachelor of Commerce and has not studied Units 3 & 4 Mathematics Methods in the VCE, they could enter Monash's Business, Arts or Science degree, undertake MTH1010 and then apply to transfer to Commerce.
