2020 Parent Payments

The 2020 Parent Payments (school fees) have now been published on Compass. These were determined at the college council meeting on Tuesday night, and will appear in the ‘Course Confirmation’ section of Compass, which is separate to ‘Events’.

We ask that families organise payment or establish a monthly direct debit prior to the end of the year, so the many additional programs that we value at Wantirna can continue. The first monthly instalment is February, deliberately into the school year to allow a bit of time after the Christmas spending peak!

It is council policy that the school remains willing to assist all families to meet these costs. To that end, I’m pleased to note that the Council has included this year the Wantirna Helping Hand fund that enables families who may have the capacity to contribute a small additional amount toward families who may not be able to easily afford the fees. Applications for these Helping Hand fund, ie: fee relief should be made in writing via email to Wantirna.sc@edumail.vic.gov.au prior to 20th December 2019.

Please get in touch with the General Office should you need assistance with anything to do with these payments or any other payment item. Our Business Manager, Mr Peter Cameron, is also available to discuss payment alternatives, or indeed to explore benevolent contributions or sponsorship from the corporate sector or wider community, which has recently been enquired about.

Information regarding the Instrumental Music program, including the fees, will be distributed shortly also. Look out for an exciting development in this area!
