Hamilton Symphony Orchestra

A great number of College students will be performing with the Hamilton Symphony Orchestra, this Sunday 11th September 2.00pm in the Hamilton Performing Arts Centre.

HSO is celebrating the best of our regional soloists, including College Director of Music, Mr Benjamin Hiscock (piano), who will be performing the feature soundtrack from ‘Pride and Prejudice’.  Year 3 and Year 4 Singers will be performing Enjoy the Storm and Chamber Singers will performing Panis Angelicus, together with soprano soloist Linda Thompson. Several College teachers and students are members of the orchestra, amongst them Timothy Gilling (violin), Amelia Gilling (violin), Natasha Jiang (cello) and Jing Jin (violin).  The concert is always a celebration of the quality and breadth of music in the region with the existence of the Hamilton Symphony Orchestra being a credit to the artistic community.
