Christmas Cakes

Well wasn’t that heaps of fun!! Thankyou so very, very much to everyone who has participated this year, in what turned out to be a marathon-ish effort. Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou. For the record, close to 800kg of ingredients has resulted in 649 beautiful Christmas cakes lining the shelves in the P & F room. It smells divine in there!

Whether you were a liner cutter, an egg donator, a weigher, a measurer, a mixer, an egg-breaker, a butter softener, a troweller-off-er-er, a mix-master or mistress, a cleaner-upper-er, a sherrier, a de-tinner, a re-liner-er... you have all done a magnificent job.

Certainly thankyou too, if you were by necessity with us in spirit. I appreciate that many of us work and cannot find the time during the mornings to help. Your chance will manifest itself again early next term when we get together on a Saturday afternoon to decorate and wrap each cake. Once again, the-more-the-merrier-for-that. So please keep an eye out for more information on this one – likely to be either 8th or 15th October.

Calendar

The Parents and Friends Association is producing a 2017 Calendar with a difference and we’re looking for sponsorship from businesses.  This is an excellent chance to promote your business whilst supporting the College.  Each business will be allocated a month which will give business owners at least 30 days of promotion.

P & F Secondhand Uniform Pop Up Shop

The P & F will be running a second hand uniform shop on Wednesday 12th October and Friday 14th October between 3.15pm and 4.00pm at the Junior Campus.

The P & F proposes that the following items of clothing will be sold at the following prices:

All items to be sold should be laundered, in excellent condition, and the latest versions. 

Please bring any items you wish to sell to Mrs Nat Povey in Week 1 of Term 4, who will provide you with labels to affix to the items. The parent will receive 80% of the sale price and the P & F will receive 20%.
