Mount Arapiles Camp
Five thirty wake up, before the sun rise.
Packing my bags, leaving nothing behind.
Long bus ride ahead, all noise from the guys.
Ready for camp, to relax and unwind.
But rock climbing was a test of courage.
Looking for a hold and reaching new heights.
During our walks, we wished for a carriage.
To sweep us up and show us gorgeous sights.
Little had I known it was all hard work.
No slacking off, no time to have much rest.
Such beautiful weather was the best perk.
But mountains and rocks were the biggest test.
All in all, Mt Arapiles showed me.
How far I can reach, how brave I can be.
