Knox City Council: Knox Youth Events Crew (KYEC)
Camp Kiah
This camp is a combination of learning social skills, building confidence and esteem, creating new memories and making new friendships. Whilst learning new ways of viewing the world and the capacity to change behaviours. This is achieved through a safe therapeutic process that includes individual and group activities. Combining the concept of the traditional Native American dream catcher with the idea that we are able to create and catch our own dreams, illustrating that children/ young people can capture and control their dreams, thoughts and futures. Dates: 9th- 12 Jan, 16th-19 Jan, 23rd-26 Jan. Camp includes all meals and snacks, 24 hour supervision, accommodation, activities. Suited for 7-17 yr olds. Cost: $980 + GST. 2017 Parent Course: New Diagnosis of ASD
Why fit in when you were born to stand out? Six-week education and support program for parents with children with ASD. Course consists of 6x 1hr sessions, designed to encourage greater understanding of ASD and to help encourage positive change in the family. Yarra Ranges Youth Holiday Program
Bookings are now open for the Youth Holiday Program in Summer 2017. Activities include pottery, job-ready workshop, stand-up paddleboarding, trampolining, go karts, hip hop dance, yoga, cafe class, and digital photography. Connect – Celebrating Cultural Diversity
The Whitehorse Flying Pig Events FReeZA crew have combined forces with the Maroondah Amped Entertainment FReeZA crew to bring you an awesome event! Connect is a community event for young people on Friday 16th December at Ringwood Train Station, featuring live music with young artists performing from 4.30 – 8pm.
