Room 14

This term in HASS room 13 and 14 have been learning about a new country each week. So far we have learnt about Egypt and Italy.

 During this time we have been engaging in STEM activities and have been building famous structures found in these places. Some include the Pyramid of Giza, The Great Sphinx of Giza, The Leaning Tower of Pisa. 

This week we have been learning about the Indian Festival of Lights, ‘Diwali’.

 On Tuesday we made some delicious coconut balls with Sue and shared them. During Diwali, people share sweets ‘Mithai’ in order to spread happiness. 

On Thursday we are looking forward to creating some colourful rangoli artworks with room 13.
