Congratulations to all our Music students who have performed so beautifully this week at the graduation ceremonies and at the Christmas Service. The music has been really uplifting and inspiring.

A number of Year Eleven students have artwork on display in the Viewpoint Youth Art Award ‘Interconnected’ at the Vancouver Arts Centre until 19 December. The work of Ebony Anderson, Henry Baker, Isabella De Giambattista and Maame Yeboah is exhibited and they all attended a lovely opening ceremony last week.

John Gilmour Scholarship

Applications are now open to students entering Years Seven to Twelve in 2023.

John Gilmour scholarships are awarded to students who exhibit the values of Great Southern Grammar, demonstrate positive personal qualities and achieve a good result in the scholarship examination.

 

Closing date: Friday 11 March 2022

Examination date: Saturday 26 March 2022

Music Scholarship

Applications are now open to students entering Years Seven to Twelve in 2023, and students may audition on any instrument. Music Scholarships are awarded to students who exhibit the values of Great Southern Grammar, demonstrate a high level of skill on their instrument and commitment to their musical development and positive personal qualities.

An approximate standard would be a minimum AMEB Grade Two for students entering into Year Seven, minimum AMEB Grade Three for students entering into Year Eight/Nine, and a minimum Grade Four for students entering into Years Ten, Eleven or Twelve.

 

Closing date: Friday 11 March 2022

Audition date: Friday 25 March 2022
