QUICK RESPONSE CODES (QR CODES)

As part of our 2021 curriculum, KSC has introduced a new STEAM subject at Years 7 and 8. This innovative subject focuses on developing students’ skills and knowledge in areas shown to be vital in the contemporary work-force (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths). In our Headstart program the Year 8 STEAM class has been learning about Quick Response codes (QR codes) and their uses. The class devised their own virtual tours of KSC, created a QR code specific to their tours, then created a game to send home with the new Year 7's coming to KSC in 2021.
