'Building Connections' Community Night 

Thursday 4th February 2021 // 5:30pm-6:30pm

In ensuring everyone makes a positive and great start to 2021, LNPS will be holding a community night event in Week 2, Thursday 4th February. 

 

This evening will give families the opportunity to:

  • meet LNPS staff, other families and community members
  • become informed about LNPS

We look forward to seeing many of our community members coming along and enjoying the evening. 

Learning Conferences 

Learning Conferences will be occurring with families and students during weeks 5 and 6 of this term and in Term 3.

 

More information about learning conferences and bookings for the meetings will be distributed on Friday of Week 3. This will be done via notes to families and in Teaching and Learning iNewsletters. 

 

 

Student Free Day

The Governing Council has approved the following dates for 2021.

Term 1

Wednesday 20th January (week 0)

Term 2

Friday 2nd July (week 10)

Term 3

Friday 6th August (week 3)

Term 4

Friday 5th November (week 4)

Monday 6th November (week 5)

 

Staff will be focussing on our approaches to reading, writing and numeracy analysing our impact on student learning, and implementing  2021 actions.

Lunch Orders

Vilis will once again be delivering lunch orders on a Monday and Friday. Subway will deliver on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Lunch order bags can be collected from the Front Office.

Hats and Uniform

Just a reminder that students need to be Sun Smart and wear hats through out the whole year. We would also like to remind families to label all  uniform to ensure that we are able to return any lost items. 

2021 Annual General Meeting​

The 2021 Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday 8th February at 6:30pm in the Staff Room. 

 

Parents are invited to attend to gain more information about LNPS strategic directions and the 2020 Annual Report. 

Council Parking

From 27th January 2021 until 21st February 2021, The City of West Torrens Council will have compliance officers, in high visibility vests, visit the streets around the school to explain the street signs and to offer brochures with further information regarding the  different zones. During this period compliance officers will only be educating drivers  for any offences.

 

From Monday 22nd February 2021 the compliance team will be patrolling all the school pick up and drop off zones within the Council area on a regular basis and may issue expiation notices for offences that are identified.
