Sydenham Principals end of year newsletter item

2020 has been a difficult year and one that we can celebrate how resilient and courageous we were as a school community in working together to provide the best educational opportunities for all of the students. Thank you to our wonderful school community for your support, patience and understanding in what was an unprecedented, ever changing year. A year that began like any other, welcoming our new Year 7 students to the start of the secondary schooling experience, to experiencing two rounds of remote learning. 

Thank you to our students who have persevered through challenging times, learnt new skills, demonstrated great resilience and inspired us with the efforts they made. You continued to impress your teachers with your continued dedication to your studies.

Thank you to our staff. What an outstanding group of educators and support staff you are. Your commitment to continually strive to do the very best for your students and ensure they were able to continue to learn was outstanding. The amount of extra time teaching staff had to put into their classes during remote learning especially was well above and beyond the call of duty.

Farewell to our outstanding teaching staff who are heading to other roles. We wish you continued success in your education careers.
