Walk and Wheel Wednesday Update

Well done everyone on walking and wheeling to school. It has been great to see so many students ride their bikes and scooters, and walk to school as well. 

Over the last 9 weeks the school has recorded 252 rides/scoots on a Wednesday and 2,122 walks. What amazing numbers and they are topped by the fact that more than 55% of all students have actively travelled to school over the last 4 weeks.

Again, well done everyone and I look forward to another active year in 2021. Next year in Term 1, the year will start with Walk and Wheel Wednesday every Wednesday and towards the end of term we will celebrate National Ride2School Day on Friday 19th March. 

6ST have continued to win the Walk and Wheel Trophy over the last 2 weeks. Well done 6ST and I hope all of the active travel you have done this year helps you in your travels to your new schools next year as Year 7s!

Walking every day in the sun.

But who cares, we are just having fun.
