Rochester Secondary College 2020 Awards

Due to the COVID -19 restrictions, we were unable to hold our traditional awards evening.  We did have a whole school assembly to celebrate the achievement of our students for the 2020 year.

Although 2020 has provided many challenges it has also provided many opportunities and the staff and students of Rochester Secondary College have made the most of those opportunities.  Our staff and students endured remote and flexible learning and celebrated the return to on-site learning.  We are grateful for the support of our community and the way we worked together to keep each other safe.  

In recognition of our work with our School-Wide Positive Behaviour Team we have introduced some new awards;

• The Academic Excellence Award – awarded to students for achieving academic excellence across all subject areas.
• The Excellence Award – This award is supportive of a student who always gives their best, demonstrates our College values and who works well with their peers and constructively participate in the life of the College.
• The Rochester Secondary College GROWS Award is awarded to students who have demonstrated our values of GROWTH, RESPECT, OPTIMISM, WELLBEING and SUPPORT throughout the year and always work to their personal best.
