Ambulance Subscription

Despite our best efforts to avoid accidents occurring, when they do happen, we act promptly to minimise injury or aggravation of injury.  It is our policy to seek the best medical support for students who suffer injury from an accident.  This may involve calling an ambulance.  We have the same response to serious illness.

Whilst school accidents are covered by insurances, this insurance does not cover the costs of ambulance callouts.  Parents need to be aware of this, as costs of treatment have to be met by parents.

We strongly recommend that families consider taking out membership of an Ambulance Fund, which covers all ambulance transport for the family.  Pensioners and holders of Health Care Cards are entitled to free ambulance transport for all persons listed on the card.

Lost Uniform or Property

Have you lost uniform or other items??? We really want to be able to get them back into your hands where they belong!

What can you do to help them find their way back to you?

1. Label everything (even just with a family name) - this is really important.  We currently have 20 sports jackets in our lost property store without names!

2. Follow up with a visit or call to the Front Office if your item is lost.

What do we do when we find them on the grounds?

1. All items are taken to the Front Office.

2. All named items are returned to students through their Learning Mentor, or called up to the Front Office.

3. Un-named items are held for a week at the Front Office.

4. After one week, drink bottle and containers are disposed of. Uniform Items that are not labelled are added to the general lost property store.

What about if I am missing a uniform item and it has not been lost in the last week?

Feel free to contact the Front Office or visit the school. You can look in the current store of items to see if you can find the item or replacement there.
