ROOM 4

Term one has been very busy in Room 4. We have been working on new routines, engaging in new learning programs and working on our communication skills. We have had lots of fun learning about letter sounds, reading new books and working on our counting and addition skills. We are looking forward to lots of fun and exciting things next term!

Primary Sub School News

Now we are in Week 8, we are so happy to see how confident and enthusiastic students are each day at school as they follow their routines, participate in their lessons and play cooperatively together with their friends.

Starting school has been a very exciting big step for our prep students. We are so grateful to parents and families for working in partnership with our teaching teams to support students to feel safe, secure and have a sense of belonging at school.

On Thursday 25th March, we will be celebrating ‘Harmony and House Colours Day’ at JSA. Students are invited to wear their house colours and join in a Primary Sub School Harmony Hat Parade in Playground One. The message is ‘everybody belongs’!

The swimming program commences in Term 2. Primary students will attend four x 45 minute swim lessons at Broadmeadows Leisure Centre on Fridays 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th May. Staff and students will travel to and from the venue via Mees Bus. Parents are welcome to meet us at Broadmeadows Leisure Centre to watch their child participate in the swimming class. Information is going home this week and session times will be confirmed next term.
