Principal's Report

Welcome

I would like to officially welcome all families to the start of another school year and say once again just how much better it feels when we are all learning together here at school. It was disappointing to have to move back into remote learning, however given our experiences of remote learning in 2020, we were prepared for a transition once it became necessary. I must congratulate all in our community for the seamless way this happened.

New STEAM Centre

The submission and interview process for architects has concluded and the winning firm can now be officially announced. 

Brand Architects, who developed the school’s masterplan and designed the new Performing Arts & Sports centre have been appointed to design and project manage our stage 2 $14.9 million STEAM Centre development.

Work will soon commence on a consultative design process that ensures we create a centre that will meet the needs of students for many years to come.

The timeline for such a major project is generally two years but I will continue to update everyone as it proceeds.

I hope all families had a great break over the holidays and I look forward to a year where we can gather as a community much more than was possible in 2020.
